Manchester United narrowly picked a 2-1 win over Leicester City to advance to the FA Cup fifth round on Friday night.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid put Leicester ahead in the 42nd minute, heading in from close range after Wilfred Ndidi’s shot was blocked.
United equalized in the second half when substitute Joshua Zirkzee tapped in from eight yards out.
With seconds remaining, Harry Maguire sealed the win with a powerful header from Bruno Fernandes’ cross.
However, the goal was controversial as the defender appeared to be in an offside position.
With VAR not in use until the fifth round, the goal stood, securing United’s place in the next stage of the competition.
