<p> Job Position: Logistics Coordinator (Transport)</p>
<p> Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos<br />
 Employment Type: Full-time</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
 Route Optimization and Planning:</p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs. Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules.</li>
</ul>
<p> Inventory Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper stock levels for timely order fulfillment. Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.</li>
</ul>
<p> Communication and Coordination: </p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as a liaison between the fleet team, warehouse staff, and other relevant departments. Communicate effectively with drivers to relay instructions, updates, and changes in schedules.</li>
</ul>
<p> Documentation and Record-Keeping: </p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels. Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.</li>
</ul>
<p> Vendor Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Negotiate transportation rates and terms with vendors to optimize logistics costs.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Compliance:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing transportation and logistics. Assist in obtaining necessary permits and licenses for transportation activities.</li>
</ul>
<p> Problem Resolution: </p>
<ul>
<li>Address logistics-related issues promptly and proactively find solutions to minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to investigate and resolve transportation and logistics-related incidents.</li>
</ul>
<p> Technology Utilization: </p>
<ul>
<li>Utilize logistics and supply chain management software to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports. Stay updated on technological advancements in logistics and recommend improvements to existing systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</li>
</ul>
