What You’ll Do as a Child Caregiver:
- Provide safe, stimulating, and engaging care for children in a warm and welcoming home environment.
- Assume full responsibility for the children’s well-being in the absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Care for children’s daily needs, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing nutritious meals.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and outings.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development according to the parents’ guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment and follow safety protocols.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to foster children’s emotional well-being.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.
- 1-7 months of experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong English or French communication skills are essential.
- A passion for childcare, strong nurturing skills, and a genuine love for children are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and other caregivers.
- The ability to create a safe and stimulating environment and follow safety protocols.
- Flexibility, organization, reliability, and a positive attitude are highly valued.
