Working with technologically advanced CNC machine tools up to 5 axis and creating complex parts from various metals safely, effectively, and efficiently in a facility that is responsible for creating the machines that produce top-notch products for nearly ¼ of the world’s population is challenging work. In this role you will be part of a high performing team. Machine tools include vertical mills, horizontal mills, lathes, and cylindrical grinders as well as a variety of hand tools and inspection tools normally used by machinists. You will need to read and interpret complex engineering drawings in order to manufacture complex parts and equipment. Additionally, you will work to ensure and maximize team performance/results through skill diversity and development. As a member of the team, you will contribute your individual skills and talents to help advance the team to meet facility goals and objectives. It starts with YOU.
Work Hours:
- 4 – 10 hour days
- Schedule is 3 PM to 1 AM Monday through Thursday
- Overtime as required.
- Flexible to work some weekends as needed to meet customers’ delivery needs and maximize asset utilization.

About You
As a person, you’re a balanced thinker, a motivated fixer – someone who is always taking initiative to solve problems, make things better and respectfully engage others along the journey with you. As a machinist, you have a strong technical track record, work best under pressure and deliver high value to your team by owning issues through resolution, exercising strong situational judgment and favoring a proactive vs. reactive approach to equipment manufacturing and maintenance.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Hold a related technical diploma and/or 3+ years of experience working in a job shop environment producing complex, high tolerance parts or equivalent related military experience.
- Possess working knowledge of CAM software and the ability to read/interpret G-Code
- Have ability to lift 50 lbs., push pull up to 40 lbs., ascend and descend stairs, perform bending, twisting, squatting, and crouching motions, and use strong gripping hand functions. Frequent standing, occasional sitting is required. Individual must be able to concentrate on and organize projects, have problem solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers. In addition, all employees are required to wear PPE including ear, eye, hand, and toe protection.

Competitive Compensation hourly pay range $26.30-$31.09 depending on experience including time and a half over 40 hours and double-time on Sundays. $2,000 Sign-on bonus currently offered.
