Real Madrid has reacted to the news of a current negotiation with Kylian Mbappe.
Reports in Europe this weekend said that Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain had reached a mutual agreement for the Frenchman to leave the club in the summer.
The forward is said to have agreed to forfeit the sum of £100 million to secure his exit from Parc des Princes with negotiations already ongoing with the Spanish capital city club.
But La Liga giants released a statement on Saturday dispelling the report and simply describing it as false.
“Given information in the media about negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid state that this information is categorically false”, the club’s statement said.
“Negotiations have not taken place with a player who belongs to PSG”.
