A lady has raised an alarm after a man allegedly threatened to embarrass her online for refusing to visit his house, despite accepting a ₦150k transport fare.
She shared the incident on her social media page, X (formerly Twitter), along with details of her conversation with the man.

According to the chat, the man boasted about his wealth and status as a billionaire, while urging her to meet with him and asking for the days she would be available.
Although other parts of their conversation were not revealed, the lady confirmed that he sent her ₦150k for transport but she failed to honor her commitment by going to his house.
She further disclosed that the man now intends to embarrass her online and took to social media to share her side of the story.
In her post, she wrote: “Someone is threatening to drag me over transport fare. I was minding my business when this man approached me, saying he would like to see me.”
“I didn’t respond, and we exchanged snaps. Then he asked if I could come to Abuja, but I didn’t reply. He offered to send money for the trip, and I agreed. He sent the ₦150k, which I’ve already used. Now he’s demanding it back.”
“I never asked him for the money, and I never confirmed that I would be going to Abuja. Just putting this out here in case anything happens.”
Her post sparked a wave of comments from concerned individuals, who shared their thoughts on the situation.

@AfamDeluxo: “Keep collecting money from strangers and refusing to honor your agreement. One day, you’ll collect the one that’ll have you dreaming of Bola Tinubu chasing you with a cutlass through Oshodi. Y’all really underestimate the spiritual weight of money and broken promises. Smh.”
@PoundsAlvin: “If you wud listen to the advice of evri1,is best you send him back his money,if he traces you down, you could go to jail for it,it’s wrong and it’s against the law,if you didn’t want 2 go there, you would just refused him and refused his money, yet you collected his money,o wrong.”
@salaudamola11: “You should have told him you won’t ve able to show up, instead of collecting the money.”
@AmiraMiria24155: “Is this a joke? Refund him and stop making excuses.. he told you the purpose of the money.”
@damboy__: “But you acted as if you’ll show up till he sent you the money then you changed the whole thing and spent the money, waoh!!! What’s your best color of clothes to wear? Green or Blue?”
@davidoghe: “You are a tiff and bronze digger, you didn’t respond to him but when he said should he send money to book for your trans, miracle suddenly happened, you then can reply. Now you are saying you were on your own, if dem never off one of una for this scam, the rest of you won’t have sense. If you ain’t shameless, you shouldn’t even bring this up here saying Incase. Any Incase that happens is a case close..”
