1.) Class Teacher / Literacy Teacher
Job Location: Ejigbo, Lagos
Description
- We are seeking the expertise of an upper primary teacher. If you are proactive, committed, firm, diligent, and computer literate (must have a working computer) does apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities as a Class Teacher/Literacy teacher shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate pupils’ understanding and applying concepts.
- Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
- Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
- Documenting and reporting on pupils’ progress.
- Attending meetings with parents and staff.
- Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Grading assignments and quizzes promptly.
- Preparing pupils for their internal and external examination, etc.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Education or related fields
- Experience teaching in an upper primary classroom environment (at least 3 years of taking common entrance)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and colleagues
- Expertise in any field (Literacy Preferred)
- Flexibility and high adaptation skills to work successfully in an unpredictable school setting
- Organization and communication skills
- Computer Skills.
- TRCN
- Must reside in Ejigbo or a few distance to Ejigbo.

2.) Assistant Nursery / Primary Teacher
Job Location: Ejigbo, Lagos
Job Summary
- We need passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistants to join their educational institution.
- Their job involves teaching as well as helping students develop foundational skills in reading and writing.
- They create lesson plans and assess student progress, provide individualized support when needed, and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing teaching materials, setting up the classroom, and managing classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra help with assignments.
- Monitor students during lunch, recess, or field trips to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with administrative duties such as photocopying, organizing materials, and maintaining classroom cleanliness.
- Help Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment, including supervising students during activities and transitions.
- Assist in grading assignments and maintaining students’ records.
- Provide support to students with special needs, following the teacher’s guidance and individualized Education Plans if applicable.
- Act as a liaison between the teacher, students, and parents, relaying information and updates.
- Attend relevant training or workshops to improve skills and stay updated on educational practices.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of an SSCE or NCE
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Teacher assistants should be patient and understanding when working with students, especially those who may need extra support
- Keeping classroom materials and activities organized is important.
