1.) Credit Marketer
Job Location: Lagos
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Origination of Asset-Backed and Trade Transactions
- Marketing – Identify and cultivate Corporate Clients in various sectors including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Agriculture amongst others
- Manage client relationships and ensure service excellence

Job Scope & Accountabilities
- Responsible for the growth of Asset Backed and Trade Transaction Portfolio
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients on product offering
- Responsible for income generation from transactions
- Excellent relationship management and customer service
- Achieve allocated budget income and transaction volumes as advised
- Prepare detailed information memorandum and credit analysis on prospective clients
- Ensure all required client documentation are duly collected as required
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth approval process of transactions within agreed turnaround times
- Provide weekly reports to the Departmental Head on activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services credit marketing role
- An MBA or Masters’ degree would be an advantage/

2.) Finance Manager

Key Functions and Responsibilities
Team Lead:
- Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the Financial Control Unit;
- Act as the main point of contact with the company’s auditors and tax consultants;
Financial Strategy, Reporting, and Control:
- Adequate and timely financial, Treasury, MPR, Investment Committee, and Management and Board reports;
- Using Power Business Intelligence technology, prepare and present financial and statistical reports for Management use;
- Ensure adequate financial control and compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards;
- Establish a financial strategy to support the implementation of the company’s objectives;
Filing of returns:
- Prompt and accurate filing of weekly, monthly, and quarterly returns to SEC, NSE, trustees, and NFIU;
Treasury Management:
- Ensure that all company funds are efficiently invested;
Fund Accounting Operations:
- Ensure all fund accounting operations are properly managed and the reports are accurate and timely submitted to all the stakeholders
Budget:
- Prepare annual and other supplementary budgets;
- Generate input for the annual financial plan and budget of the company;
Cost Control:
- Supervise expenditure and cost control;
Others:
- Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance;
- Work with CFO to generate income to accomplish the company’s short-term long-term vision
- Optimisation of Power Business Intelligence tools.

3.) Legal and Compliance Officer

Summary
- We are seeking a Legal Officer in our Lagos office to support legal functions across our business units.
- Reporting to the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser, the Legal Officer will work closely with various business units in negotiating, drafting, and advising on commercial contracts, providing structural advice, monitoring compliance, managing disputes and litigation with external counsel, liaising with regulatory authorities, particularly the Securities and Exchange Commission, engaging with different stakeholders and advising on various other legal matters that arise in the course of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, review, and advise on a range of legal and capital market documents including prospectus, trust deed, term sheet, advisory services agreement, non-disclosure agreements and various other agreements.
- Support the company secretary in all company secretarial matters including conducting board meetings and statutory fillings.
- Liaise with relevant departments to identify legal risks in transactions and company processes and advise on risk mitigants.
- Identify areas where policies and procedures of the company could be modified and undertake periodic reviews and revision of policies for continuous relevance to changing realities.
- Execute and articulate the company’s corporate governance strategy and ensure that it is embedded in all board and business processes by developing advising on and re-enforcing good corporate governance standards.
- Develop, implement, and advise on the interpretation and application of relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Create and support a culture of compliance within the organization by creating awareness (including delivering training) among members of the Board, Business partners, employees, and other key stakeholders.
- Interface with key stakeholders including financial regulators, self-regulating organizations, trustees, issuing houses, securities exchanges, and capital market trade groups.
Position Requirements
- Graduate of Nigeria Law School.
- 5+ years of post-call experience.
- Familiarity with the areas of capital market, compliance, corporate governance, and general corporate law.
- Demonstrated experience or certification in Islamic finance will be an added advantage.
