The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of 115,735 results from the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), while 10,446 results are currently undergoing processing.
This was revealed in an official statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor (PCA), Dr. Fabian Benjamin. The mock exam, conducted nationwide on Thursday, April 10, 2025, saw a significant number of registered candidates fail to turn up, while a few were unable to participate due to biometric verification issues.
According to the board, a total of 200,113 candidates registered for the exam, but only 126,181 eventually sat for it. Of those, 115,735 results have been released and are now available for viewing, while 10,446 are still being processed and are expected to be released soon.

How to check your 2025 Mock UTME result:
JAMB has introduced a simple SMS-based method for candidates to access their results using the same phone number used during registration. Here’s how:
- Ensure you use the SIM card used during JAMB registration.
- Open the SMS app on your phone.
- Type MOCKRESULT (in capital letters).
- Send the SMS to 55019 or 66019.
- Wait for a response message containing your result details.
JAMB encouraged candidates to remain focused as they continue preparations for the main UTME, emphasizing that the ongoing technological and operational improvements are aimed at enhancing the examination experience.
“JAMB urges all candidates to continue making the necessary sacrifices to ensure a better examination experience that effectively serves their interests,” the board added.
