<p> What we need, in a nutshell</p>
<p> As part of the team delivering IT support to the business, you will be diagnosing and resolving IT incidents and requests, taking ownership of each job to completion. You will also be helping to introduce and embed new systems and educating users to become more computer literate.</p>

<p> What you’ll be doing</p>
<p> You will be part of the team that keeps the company IT systems running smoothly, resolving incidents, responding to service requests and installing new systems. This will include: </p>
<ul>
<li>Resolving IT incidents and fulfilling service requests from users, looking after each logged request from start to finish, keeping the user up to date on progress</li>
<li>Performing hands-on fixes at the desktop, including installing and upgrading software, supporting and installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications</li>
<li>Curating and creating knowledge articles for known fixes and helping to compile self-help/FAQ lists for users</li>
<li>Providing on-call support as part of a rota and occasional emergency support</li>
<li>Working with third party providers on solutions to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality</li>
<li>Communicating and monitoring technology and security standards and governance across the business and monitoring the IT managed service provider against the agreed technology and security standards, addressing any issues</li>
<li>Providing training, documentation and service transition activities to ensure new services are integrated into the existing system</li>
<li>Introducing a system for regular feedback from users and applying the lessons learnt</li>
</ul>
<p> Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need</p>
<p> If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we’d love to hear from you: </p>
<ul>
<li>At least two years Level 1 or 2 IT support experience</li>
<li>A thorough understanding of business IT infrastructure and needs, including hardware and operating systems, MAC and Windows, mobile phones, software packages and security etc.</li>
<li>Ability to absorb and retain information quickly and present ideas in user-friendly language, communicating effectively at all levels</li>
<li>The ability to deal with a variety of tasks and to prioritise workloads effectively</li>
<li>Experience of influencing others and overcoming customer frustrations positively</li>
<li>Ability to think quickly and resolve problems when the pressure is on</li>
<li>Experience of managing and working with 3rd party suppliers</li>
</ul>
<p> It’s the icing on the cake if you have worked within the holiday park industry but this is not essential so do apply even if you don’t tick this additional box.</p>
