The position at a glance
As part of Global Banking Information Technology Americas, the Payments and Cash Management team has as a core expertise to lead innovation and deliver solutions for payments processing, SWIFT interfaces and Cash Management.
Business Analysts have strong functional & business knowledge, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the Global Banking & corporate business and IT footprint, in particular in the domains of payments, cash management and SWIFT.
In detail
Business Analysis
- Identify and stabilize the scope of business topics to be addressed / resolved
- Identify and obtain the buy-in from the Primary Project Stakeholders and Sponsors
- Leverage expertise and problem solving skills to propose solutions during each phase of the project
- Drive the delivery effort by closely following up with key stakeholders, organizing workshops and committees as needed, creating and distributing meeting minutes
- Ensure clear communication of goals, budget, risks, efforts involved, as well as on the progress of the project
- Work closely with all functions – Front office, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Information Security, Suppliers, IT Teams etc. to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
- Manage situations of conflict and constraints to ensure the success of the project.

Qualifications
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with focus on IT, Business Administration or other relevant field of study.
- 3-10 years of relevant industry experience in Global Banking
- Expertise in Front Office and Operations (functional or in a project capacity), with knowledge of Global Banking activities
- Deep knowledge of & experience coordinating all steps of the software development life cycle.
- Fluency in both French and English is required. Spanish or Portuguese are nice to have.
- Excellent level of knowledge of Jira, Sharepoint, Clarity, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent level of knowledge of Payments, SWIFT and Cash management.
The candidate:
- Must have excellent communication skills – Both written and oral.
Knowledge of English is required
- Must be able to professionally and efficiently manage situations of conflict and work with collaborators to arrive at a solution.
- Needs to demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn new processes quickly.
- Needs to show ability to multi-task and shift gears for various topics.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to delve into complicated situations (issues, people, processes etc.), sort out the information and propose the solution/next steps.
