Summary An interior and architecture design studio, specialising in the design of luxury hospitality and residential projects, is seeking an all-rounded senior interior architect. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the luxury hospitality and/or residential industry and a passion for innovative and unique design.
Job Description:
- Take charge of design details and confidently lead projects to successful completion.
- Provide guidance and management for more junior designers.
- Support line managers in client presentations and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and adhering to project programs and scopes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional representation of the brand.
- Uphold adherence to brand guidelines within the organization.
- Enforce compliance with company systems and internal controls.
- Serve as a role model for colleagues, embodying professionalism and excellence.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of budgets and maintain commercial awareness throughout the design process.
- Oversee and review technical drawings produced by other team members.
- Monitor and inspect on-site implementation to ensure quality and alignment with design specifications.
- Delegate and distribute workload across the team in a fair and efficient manner.
- This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.
Skills Necessary:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing multiple luxury projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS.
- Showcase exceptional conceptual and presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of different style periods, and high-end residential and hospitality interior design is preferable.
- Strong understanding of all project stages.
- Someone who is happy to be ‘hands on’ and comfortable in a diverse role and who brings an enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude.
- The capability to multi-task with strong use of initiative.
- Confident to deal directly with clients and contractors.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills, demonstrating tenacity in overcoming challenges.
- Must have a degree in Interior Design/ Architecture.
