<p><strong>Inter Milan</strong> have placed <strong>Manchester United</strong> striker <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/rasmus-hojlund"><strong>Rasmus Hojlund</strong></a> at the top of their summer wishlist as they look to rebuild their attack following a disappointing campaign.</p>
<p>As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are prioritising a move for the 22-year-old Dane, who endured a tough first season at Old Trafford.</p>
<p>Hojlund netted just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances in 2024/25, failing to live up to the £72 million price tag United paid Atalanta less than a year ago.</p>
<p>Despite a stronger showing in the Europa League, where he scored six times, United fell short in the final against Tottenham and failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League, adding to Hojlund’s frustrating campaign.</p>
<p>Inter, reeling from their 5-0 Champions League final loss to PSG and a season without silverware, see Hojlund as a player with untapped potential.</p>
<p>The Italian side are exploring a loan deal with an option to buy, taking advantage of United’s need to recalibrate their frontline.</p>
<p>The Danish striker previously impressed during his spell at Atalanta in 2022/23, scoring nine goals in Serie A and attracting interest across Europe. Inter are hoping a return to Italy could reignite that form.</p>
<p>With a reported €40 million budget, Inter are targeting younger prospects and also monitoring Ange-Yoan Bonny (Parma) and Santiago Castro (Bologna), but Hojlund remains their preferred option to lead the line next season.</p>
