<p><b>Position Overview</b></p>
<ul>
<li>As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the information technology operations within an organization.</li>
<li>You will play a key role in managing IT infrastructure, implementing and maintaining systems and software, providing technical support, and ensuring the security and efficiency of the organization&#8217;s IT environment.</li>
<li>Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the overall success and smooth functioning of the company&#8217;s technology initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b><br />
 IT Infrastructure Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the organization&#8217;s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and other hardware and software systems.</li>
<li>Evaluate and recommend improvements to the infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.</li>
<li>Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.</li>
</ul>
<p> Systems Implementation and Maintenance: </p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the implementation of new systems, software, and technologies to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Manage the maintenance and updates of existing systems and software, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.</li>
<li>Conduct regular system audits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.</li>
</ul>
<p> IT Security and Data Protection: </p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the organization&#8217;s systems, networks, and data.</li>
<li>Monitor and proactively address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.</li>
<li>Conduct regular backups of critical data and implement disaster recovery plans.</li>
</ul>
<p> Technical Support and Training: </p>
<ul>
<li>Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.</li>
<li>Respond to user inquiries and resolve IT-related problems promptly and effectively.</li>
<li>Conduct training sessions and create user guides to enhance employees&#8217; understanding and utilization of technology.</li>
</ul>
<p> Vendor Management: </p>
<ul>
<li>Manage relationships with IT vendors, including software providers, hardware suppliers, and service providers.</li>
<li>Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service level agreements.</li>
<li>Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.</li>
</ul>
<p> IT Budgeting and Resource Planning: </p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in developing the IT budget, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and procurement planning.</li>
<li>Monitor IT expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.</li>
<li>Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements, providing recommendations for future IT investments.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).</li>
<li>2 &#8211; 5 years of relevant work experience.</li>
<li>Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains, including hardware, software, networking, and security.</li>
<li>Familiarity with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud technologies.</li>
<li>Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.</li>
</ul>
