An InDrive driver who allegedly absconded with a vendor’s phone was recently caught in Ikeja while attempting to collect another order.
This was revealed in a post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter. The driver was seen lying on the ground after being caught.

According to earlier reports, the driver had failed to deliver a customer’s phone and went off the radar.
A post shared days before his arrest alleged: “I can’t believe an InDrive rider ran away with a phone and InDrive is doing nothing about it.”
“They’ve completely ignored the vendor. Anyway, that’s the face of the thief and his phone number. If you ever book a courier and he shows up, just know he’s a thief.”
Four days later, the same driver was caught in Ikeja while trying to collect another delivery.
The updated post read: “Stupid thief was caught today. He went to Ikeja again to collect orders. A stupid, dirty thief.”
The incident has sparked online reactions, with many sharing their thoughts in the comments section.
