Our Immersive Summit is a 3-day summer experience that will take place in our National Headquarters in Decatur, IL. This program is for high-potential students who are part of underrepresented groups (female, Black/African American, and/or Hispanic/Latino/a/x) that combines diverse experiences and continuous learning. During the program, you will be introduced to new career opportunities in agriculture and human and animal nutrition.</p>
<p> The Immersive Summit is a fantastic opportunity for freshman (first year) students to explore different career paths and experience our unique culture firsthand. You will gain a deep understanding of how we work, meet our senior leaders as well as former interns, and gain meaningful real-world experience. It will be a high-powered experience right from day one.</p>
<p> First, you will understand how an agriculture and global nutrition company operates and the different careers available. You will hear about the day-to-day responsibilities of ADM employees in commercial, engineering, marketing, and other functions. We also want to equip you with the skills you need to start your career in these roles through workshops and professional development sessions. Ultimately, we want the experience to be valuable for you.</p>
<p> Upon successful completion of the Immersive Summit, students are eligible for an interview during the Fall 2024 semester for one of our Summer 2025 internships.</p>
<p> STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE</p>
<p> Currently a freshman (first year) student at a US university, who expects to graduate between December 2026 and August 2027</p>
<p> Identify with an underrepresented group (female, Black/African American, and/or Hispanic/Latino/a/x)</p>
<p> Outstanding academic achievement</p>
<p> Involved in meaningful leadership activities outside of academics, such as volunteering, paid employment, athletics, or campus clubs</p>
<p> Passionate problem solver and analytical thinker</p>
<p> Excellent communication skills</p>
<p> Preference will be given to candidates who are in driving distance of Decatur, IL</p>
<p> Unfortunately, you will not be eligible if you hold an H-1B visa or use Optional Practical Training. As we are unable to sponsor visas for our Early Talent programs, you will need to have permanent work authorization in the United States.</p>
