ChapmanCG is proud to partner with WWF International, the global Secretariat of one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), to appoint a newly created role of Head of Compensation and Benefits. This position can be based in the UK, the Netherlands, Kenya or Singapore.
WWF operates as an autonomous conservation organisation active in nearly 100 countries, dedicated to preserving the natural world for the well-being of both humans and wildlife. Engaging with various individuals and communities, they are part of a coalition urging global leaders to initiate the restoration of nature by 2030. The organisation has global reach. There are comprehensive national WWF operations in certain countries, while others host offices dedicated to specific conservation initiatives, collaborating to build a sustainable future.
The Role
The Head of Compensation and Benefits will be responsible for driving and leading all C&B topics globally and ensuring the implementation of comprehensive rewards policies in WWF International. Reporting directly to the Director of Foundational Services, this role involves managing a team of two specialists, designing and executing C&B frameworks and standards for WWF International, and overseeing the job evaluation process, salary reviews, benchmarking, and market surveys across multiple markets. The Head of Compensation and Benefits will also play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Director of People & Culture and the Chief Operating Officer in salary reviews and decisions regarding pay philosophy, collaborating with the Finance & Investment Committee. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing and cultivating relationships with external suppliers such as Mercer and Birches.
The Individual
You must have at least 10 years of experience in a C&B role and a proven track record of managing diverse markets globally. You should have a comprehensive understanding of international mobility from a C&B perspective and be familiar with HRIS. It is crucial that you show genuine enthusiasm for WWF’s mission and have the ability to navigate diverse situations and handle confidential matters. You should have strong analytical skills and a methodical approach, as well as a proven track record in establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with both internal and external clients.
