A Nigerian hair vendor has raised alarm after catching her sales rep stealing a luxury Brazilian wig shortly after she stepped out of her store.
The incident was captured in a video shared on TikTok, where the vendor could be heard lamenting that she had received a call from someone who spotted her sales girl walking around with her wig and bag.
Upon investigation, the claims turned out to be true. The vendor confronted the sales rep and forced her to hold the stolen items while recording the moment on video.
Expressing her frustration, the vendor said incidents like this are why she avoids hiring sales reps.
She said: “Person go leave una for store, una go dey thief. See wetin my girl thief—bone straight wig. Na person call me say e see my girl with my bag. Una go thief finish dey hide una face, na why I no dey employ sales girl be this.”
