A young car spotter, whose video of Pastor Paul Adefarasin‘s convoy stirred widespread online discussion, has received a N350,000 cash donation from members of the public moved by his story.
The fundraising effort was spearheaded by popular media personality Daddy Freeze, leader of the “#FreeNation” and “Free the Sheeple” movement.
Daddy Freeze announced via his Instagram page, revealing that the money was raised by compassionate followers who were touched by the young man’s living conditions.
The media figure had hosted the car spotter in an Instagram Live session, during which the young man could not show his face due to a lack of electricity.
During the session, Daddy Freeze expressed his concern:
“Don’t worry, we will give you cash today. I am not happy that you don’t have light… This boy should be encouraged.”
The young man, whose identity remains undisclosed, shared that he stopped attending school after secondary school due to financial difficulties. He studied commercial subjects and has since devoted himself to car spotting, sometimes spending up to eight hours standing by the roadside in hopes of capturing luxury vehicles on camera.
His passion recently paid off when he filmed Pastor Adefarasin’s black Range Rover, a clip that went viral for allegedly showing the pastor flashing what many believe was a firearm.
The N350,000 donation came after Daddy Freeze urged his followers to support the young talent financially.
