Early Life
Groovy Mono was born in 1995 to Mr. and Mrs. Orakwe. His name was Henry Olisaemeka Orakwe. His native name, Olisaemeka, meaning “God has done well.” He was born and raised in Lagos State.
He is an Igbo from the Southeast region. He hails from Anambra State. BBNaija Groovy Mono is the first child in the Orakwe family, and he has three siblings: a younger brother and twin younger sisters. He comes from a pious family and was raised in the Christian faith.
Education
BBNaija Groovy Mono finished his elementary education at a top private nursery and primary school in Lagos. He attended St. Finbarr’s College in Yaba, Lagos, for secondary school education.
He graduated from the institution with high marks on his West African School Certificate Examination. BBNaija Groovy Mono is a University of Lagos alumnus.

BB Naija Groovy Mono is a versatile creativity. He found his vocal skills while still in high school. He frequently produced covers of popular songs and performed them to the delight of his peers.

BBNaija Groovy Mono released his first official single, Groovy Zone, on November 7th, 2020. The song helped launch his music career and performed well locally. Groovy Zone introduced BBNaija Groovy Mono to a wider audience, with broadcasts on various radio stations and hundreds of streams weeks after its debut. The song established him as an artist to watch out for in the Lagos underground music scene.
Almost a year later, BBNaija Groovy Mono decided to take the music business by storm, resulting in the release of a five-track project. The Groovy Hours EP was released on October 27th, 2021. Since its debut, the song has gotten positive reviews from reviewers, boosting BBNaija Groovy Mono’s prominence in the music industry. The EP has received thousands of streams from music lovers.
Toby Bada$$ produced all of the tracks on the project save Gang Signs. Screamralph created Gang Signs. Similarly, Toby Bada$$ mixed and mastered all of the tracks.
BBNaija Groovy Mono was passionate about the entertainment sector and aspired to be a reality TV star. So he auditioned for the seventh season of Big Brother Naija in 2022. Fortunately for him, he was chosen.
On July 23, 2022, he was revealed as one of Big Brother Naija’s 24 housemates (Level Up Season).

Groovy Biography Relationship
Groovy is not married, although he was previously with other BBnaija housemates Beauty and Chomzy. In the case of a messy brawl, BBnaija Beauty has now been disqualified from the Level Up home.
Groovy and Beauty quickly became the talk of the event at the start of the program, but their relationship was fraught with conflict. The final straw came when Groovy danced with Chomzy, a fellow Level 1 resident.
