American rapper, and record producer, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known Eminem has described the Grammy vote and award as fake.
During a recent interview, Eminem described the Grammy award as fake adding that winners are chosen based on favoritism rather than merit.
The comment of Eminem follows after the 67th Grammy Awards, which took place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Eminem declared that he would never attend the ceremony again, stating that his answer would be “no” for the next 100 million years.
In his words:
“That vote is fake as fvck, that is not a real vote, they give it to who they want to give it to. If I lose to fvcking kanye or someone that I’m like okay, I respect that I know who that is, and Kanye has a huge following, he made a massive impact on music, but don’t fvcking get us all here to use your selling point for your fvking show and stiff everybody every single fvking time.
Don’t ever ask me to fvcking come here again, please do not ask me, my answer is No, for 100 million years. Never again will I fvcking go to the Grammy.”
