<p><b>Purpose of Role</b></p>
<p> Global Security is looking for a summer intern to support and assist with research and analysis across our various projects and day-to-day monitoring.</p>
<p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p>
<p> Assist with daily monitoring of global security events/incidents, which could affect Kinross</p>
<p> Undertake a global security project which adds value to the department (will be discussed upon starting)</p>
<p> Provide support to the global security projects where needed</p>
<p><b>Minimum Requirements</b></p>
<p><b>Education and Experience</b></p>
<p> Enrolled in a university degree (Politics, International Relations, Security, Criminology, or related degree)</p>
<p> Master’s students preferred, 3rd or 4th year is also acceptable</p>
<p><b>Skills</b></p>
<p> Ability to synthesize complex information quickly</p>
<p> Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated</p>
<p> Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail</p>
<p> Strong research and writing skills</p>
<p> Flexibility to undertake various tasks</p>
<p> Strong oral and written communication skills</p>
<p> Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently</p>
<p> Ability to learn quickly and to work well in a team environment</p>
<p> Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint</p>
<p> Advanced knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools an advantage</p>
<p> Arabic, Spanish, Russian, French, or Portuguese language abilities would also be an asset<br />
