A Ghanaian lady has sparked outrage online after allegedly lying about having fibroid to solicit funds, only to use the money to buy a new fridge and turkey to set up a business for herself.
This is according to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Hybrid_Ola, who claimed the woman deceived donors by presenting an ultrasound scan to support her false story.

“She asked people to help her with surgery for fibroids. She even provided an ultrasound to make her story look legit. ₦722k was contributed for her, only for people to later find out she never had fibroids and used the money to buy a fridge,” the post read.
@Hybrid\_Ola also shared a video to support the claims, adding that although the woman is Ghanaian, most of the support she received came from Nigerians.
“She’s Ghanaian, but everyone who donated to her are her friends in Nigeria,” she added.
The post quickly went viral, drawing widespread reactions as many users took to the comment section to express their anger and disappointment.
