<p>New <strong>England</strong> boss <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/thomas-tuchel"><strong><u><b>Thomas Tuchel </b></u></strong></a>has reached an agreement with the country’s FA to work from Germany.</p>
<p>This means he will miss significant domestic fixtures while preparing for his first games in charge.</p>
<p>The 51-year-old German, who replaced Gareth Southgate last October on an 18-month contract worth £5 million per year, officially started his role on January 1.</p>
<p>However, The Times reports that Tuchel has already missed three rounds of<strong> Premier League</strong> and FA Cup matches as part of a deal permitting him to travel back to Germany regularly to visit his family.</p>
<p>Despite being spotted at numerous Premier League and European fixtures, the former Chelsea manager was absent for the entire FA Cup third-round weekend and three full Premier League gameweeks.</p>
<p>Tuchel’s first match in charge of the Three Lions is set for March 21, when England hosts Albania in a World Cup 2026 qualifier at Wembley.</p>
<p>Three days later, they will face Latvia at the same venue.</p>
<p>As England’s third-ever foreign manager—following Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello—Tuchel expressed pride in leading the national team, calling it a “huge privilege” and emphasizing his deep connection to English football.</p>
