<p>The ongoing social media rift between US President, Donald Trump and world’s richest man, Elon Musk has taken a dramatic turn, with Musk’s networth decreasing by $34 billion.</p>
<p>The brawl stemmed from Elon Musk’s claim about his significant role in Donald Trump’s US 2024 presidential election.</p>

<p>However, in response, Donald Trump threatened to cut federal contracts with Musk’s companies and eliminate the electric vehicle (EV) mandate introduced as a tax incentive under former President Joe Biden’s administration.</p>
<p><em>“I asked him to leave. I took away his EV mandate that forced everyone to buy electric cars that nobody else wanted” </em>He stated.</p>
<p>Furthermore, Donald Trump suggested that terminating Elon Musk’s governmental subsidies and contracts would be a key way to economize financial resources in the American budget.</p>
<p>According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Elon Musk’s net worth plummeted by $33.9 billion, marking one of the worst single-day losses in personal wealth.</p>
