Dr. Phillip Ozuah, the renowned philanthropist and medical expert who made headlines in 2023 for donating $1 million to his alma mater, the University of Ibadan Medical School, donates food items to all the families in his hometown in Anambra state.
This was captured in a video that made the rounds on social media.

Dr Philip Ozuah was seen in his traditional attire while addressing some of the residents of his hometown Ifite Nteje in Anambra State.
He noted that all the names of the families in the hometown were already written down and would each get bags of rice and other food items.
The announcement had drawn jubilation and claps of joy from the town’s men and women who had gathered to hear him speak.
