About the role
You will be working within the scope of The Works’ multichannel strategic pillars on a recently launched brand new Salesforce platform, the role will be focused on growing the digital sales performance of TheWorks.co.uk website & Marketplace channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing key performance metrics for your categories and products, making data-driven decisions in order to increase Revenue/Conversion/ATP/IPO/AOV.
- Launching key product ranges and campaigns throughout the year, working closely with the Digital Design Manager to ensure that category pages are optimised to reflect these in an efficient and timely manner.
- Leading the set-up and publishing of all products to the website, adhering to specific timed product launches as well as day-to-day loading. Ensure all products are loaded into all relevant categories across the taxonomy to maximise exposure and sales.
- Providing detailed reports and analysis of performance to the leadership team (daily/weekly/monthly), whilst providing solutions to any deficiencies within the data and overseeing actions through to completion alongside relevant departments
- Liaising with the Web Stock and Buying teams to ensure sufficient levels of stock are available to meet demand, whilst identifying and futureproofing quantities to meet any expected uplifts and gaining knowledge on upcoming products/launches.
- Using the tooling suite available to enhance all components of the site, including Search Results Pages, PLPs and PLP Attributes, PDPs, Category LHNs and the MegaNav, ensuring that sales opportunities are maximised and providing feedback and results on actions taken.
- Working with the Digital Marketing team to ensure exposure of products and categories are maximised across SEO, Affiliates and Paid Marketing channels, sharing information on upcoming launches whilst monitoring and providing feedback on results.
- Conduct regular site walks and feedback on any opportunities to the relevant parties
- Review reports and data on Search performance, using this information to optimise search term rules and the product results for given terms.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis on all aspects of onsite trading, feeding back on any key findings including campaigns, product launches, price comparisons and more.
- Build strong relationships with 3rd parties including our platform provider (Salesforce), making full use of the technology at your disposal and driving your own development and knowledge by attending webinars and regularly meeting with account managers.
- Become a respected line manager for the Digital Merchandiser(s) that form part of your team, providing feedback and guidance to increase your teams skill sets whilst maintaining a positive working environment
- Support with the development and growth of our marketplace channels (Amazon/eBay) by ensuring products are optimised sufficiently to be added to the listings per channel.

- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of the business.
- Experience with online content management systems (CMS).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and use in-house computer packages
