Finally CBN launched its Digital Currency – eNaira app, merchant wallet

The Central Bank of Nigeria finally launched its central bank digital currency called eNaira on Monday, The eNaira app which was supposed to be launched on October 1, 2021 but was postponed due to an overload of activities billed for Nigeria’s 61st birthday celebrations became.

It has two apps:

  • eNaira Speed ​​Wallet and
  • eNaira Merchant Wallet,
