Shift
8 hrs / 6 hrs / 4 hrs
As a key member of the Food Services department, we are searching for Dietary Service Workers to work days and evenings including weekends. To perform a variety of functions in the food service area including food preparation, assemble patient trays, transport patient meal carts, delivery and retrieval of patient trays, serving, and cleaning. Other duties as per job fact sheet.
Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of secondary school required.
- 2 Years of current experience within a Healthcare Food Services position required.
- Food Service Worker Course is a definite asset.
- Food Safety certificate required.
- Knowledge of Food Service equipment use and proper cleaning practices.
- Ability to perform duties in an organized and efficient manner while being professional and courteous.
- Demonstrated ability working in a team environment required.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) required.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.
