<p>Enzo Maresca’s men trailed by two goals before a second-half response spared further embarrassment in front of the home crowd.</p>
<p>The visitors stunned the hosts with goals from Julio Enciso and Jack Clarke, both assisted by right-back Ben Johnson.</p>

<p>Cole Palmer, who has been a standout for Chelsea this season, extended his run of underwhelming performances, failing to significantly impact the game for a third consecutive match.</p>
<p>Chelsea remain outside the top four and will need to sharpen their form heading into the season’s final stretch.</p>
<p>Ipswich, meanwhile, cling to slim survival hopes, taking confidence from their performance against one of the Premier League’s big names.</p>
