Chelsea picked a vital win at Stamford Bridge, with Jackson, Palmer, and Mudryk all finding the net against Newcastle in Monday.
The game started well for Chelsea, with Jackson opening the scoring early in the match.
However, Newcastle’s Alexander Isak equalized just before halftime, to cause pressure for the hosts.
Palmer, a consistent performer for the Blues this season, broke the deadlock with a strike from outside the box, putting Chelsea back in the lead.
Mudryk with his fine footwork, penetrated Newcastle to score and extend Chelsea’s lead.
Despite a late goal from Newcastle, courtesy of Jacob Murphy, Chelsea were able hold on to claim all three points.
