Chelsea have sealed their place in the UEFA Europa Conference League final following a 1-0 second-leg victory over Swedish side Djurgarden at Stamford Bridge, completing a 5-1 aggregate triumph.
The only goal of the night came from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who produced a brilliant solo effort in the first half to put the tie beyond doubt.
The midfielder glided through Djurgarden’s midfield before slotting past the goalkeeper to maintain his strong form under head coach Enzo Maresca.
Despite the modest scoreline, the Blues were in complete control throughout the contest.
With a comfortable 4-1 lead from the first leg, Maresca’s side showed composure and tactical discipline to see out the fixture without unnecessary risk.
The atmosphere at Stamford Bridge was lively, with both sets of supporters in full voice, but on the pitch, it was all Chelsea.
Chelsea now head to the final of the Conference League, a chance to secure their first European silverware since the 2021 Champions League title.
