Position Summary:
The Learning Management Systems (LMS) Specialist provides the ongoing administration and support of PointClickCare learning platforms. This includes working with PointClickCare customers, internal stakeholders, and Customer Learning team members to support learning content and projects. The Learning Management System Specialist is involved in platform management and digital transformation projects, user management, content management, case management/troubleshooting, data reporting/analytics, and driving overall customer utilization and adoption of training and PointClickCare solutions. This role may as needed assist the instructional design team in the development of learning assets.

The position is open to Remote and Head Office, Mississauga, ON candidates.
Platform Management and Digital Transformation Projects
- Maintain work instructions/procedures to ensure the proper administration, security, and integrity of the LMS.
- Work with LMS vendors and internal teams on the introduction of enhanced LMS functionality.
- Work on the project team with vendors and internal team members on digital transformation projects (i.e. – LMS integrations with other systems/platforms, SSO, eCommerce, LMS migrations).
- Research and work with learning technology vendors to leverage the platforms, increase adoption, identify best practices, and make recommendations to leadership.
User Management
- Create and manage customer hierarchies including the creation of facilities and user permission levels.
- Manage course enrollments.
- Create, coordinate, administer, and maintain the security access of all end users and administrator.
- Create user logins as needed and assign user permissions.
Content Management
- Upload, publish, test, archive learning solutions, assign training curricula, and add and delete resources as needed.
- Populate course information and assign learners.
- Create and push out feedback surveys to end users.
- Create and manage overall course structures, set up course programs, and maintain learning plans and course listings.
Case Management/Troubleshooting
- Monitor the case queue adhering to set SLAs to address customer issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve simple to intermediate issues relating to system access, functionality, and software systems.
- Review and monitor system performance, and report and announce service disruptions and resolutions.
Data Reporting/Analytics
- Manage the creation and availability of LMS and Customer Learning operational and business outcome metrics through BI reporting and any scheduled reports.
- Help analyze learning data and trends and make recommendations for optimal user adoption.
User Adoption
- Provide training and support to PoitnClickCare stsff and customers on LMS functionality.
- Maintain community areas, learning notifications, and user guides to support learning.
- Liaise with new, existing and potential customers to assist in identifying learning needs and recommending PointClickCare learning paths and training solutions.
- Work on key user adoption projects such as gamification, customer interviews/testimonials, and website updates.
Learning & Development
- Support the success of our educational offerings by assisting the instructional design team in the development of educational components as needed (e.g. – performance support tools, assessments, animations, branding).
- Participate in the creation of the release certification courses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an LMS administrator or in a technical support role handling case management
- Self-starter with the ability to take on new challenges and a desire to define and implement solutions
- Previous experience in a client facing role, able to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, and vendors.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and responsive attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle concurrent time sensitive learner requests
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Positive attitude and great work ethic
- Excellent PC Skills, MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- LMS administration on SuccessFactors and Relias.
- Adult Education coursework/certificates
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging trends in education technologies and adult learning
- Experience in eLearning development.
- Experience with Articulate 360 products, Zoom, Canva, Camtasia, Snagit, Vyond, Audacity.
