Job description: RINA is currently recruiting for a Business Development Representaive in Canada.
Mission
The Business Development Representative will be instrumental of an assigned customer portfolio as well as responsible for organic customer growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with more experienced Sales Managers to focus on sales opportunities, client visits and management
- Provide support in the monitoring of the order intake pipeline
- Provide support on customer contracts, tenders and quotations
- Support contract closing activities
- Provides cross selling and up-selling solutions
- Track competitor activity and provide updates on competitor news and intelligence
- Pursues and secures business with consolidated customers in line with the business objectives
- Engage with current customers to discuss and understand their needs and requirements
- Contribute to customer satisfaction, repeat business
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years’ experience with roles concentrated in Business Development Stream, specific to ENERGY services and/or engineering consultancy
Additional experience in any of the following business sectors would be an asset:
- vendor & field inspection
- decarbonization (wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen, biofuels)
- rail & transit
- AIM (Asset Integrity Management)
Education
- Engineering Degree or Diploma (or equivalent) in engineering, marketing, commerce or related discipline

- Knowledge and understanding of industry quality requirements and HSE regulations

- Outstanding team-player and capability to work with distributed international teams
- High degree of flexibility and capabilities to handle various tasks in parallel including prioritization
