A Nigerian businesswoman has expressed her frustration after a delivery driver informed her that goods she cleared for ₦2 million had fallen off the bus while en route to Warri and could not be recovered.
In a viral video, she narrated how she purchased and cleared 20 cartons of goods in Lagos before paying a delivery service to transport them to Warri.

However, she was shocked when she received a call informing her that only two cartons had arrived.
Refusing to accept partial delivery, she demanded the remaining cartons.
Later, she was told that six more cartons were available, bringing the total to eight.
After some back-and-forth, she agreed to pick them up after being assured that the remaining 12 cartons would arrive soon.
Days later, she received a distressing call from the park manager in Lagos, who apologized and explained that while transporting the goods, the driver was unaware that the vehicle’s boot was open, causing 12 cartons to fall off the road. He added that the lost goods could not be recovered.
In the video, the woman recounted her ordeal, saying:
“Two weeks ago, I cleared these goods for about ₦2 million. I paid in full for a driver to transport them from Lagos to Warri. The next day, I was told that only two of the 20 cartons had arrived. Later, they called to say eight were available, but I refused to accept them until I got my full order.”
“Eventually, they assured me that the remaining 12 cartons were on the way, so I collected the eight. But later, I got a call from the park manager in Lagos saying, ‘Madam, we are so sorry. The driver didn’t realize the boot was open, and 12 cartons fell off on the road. They can’t be recovered.”
The video sparked outrage online as many took to the comment section to express their thoughts on the situation.
