<p><b>Job description</b>: Business Development Executive – Leading Route to Market Brand – London – Up to £50k</p>
<p> This company is one of the leading Wine and Spirits distributors across the UK, with a long standing reputation to match. This client operates a fantastic Route to Market portfolio ranging across all On and Off trade businesses – especially within the Premium sector.</p>
<p> They are seeking a Business Development Executive to work with the Prestige and Premium portfolio to sell this within the London market. The Business Development Executive will be vital in bringing in new business, maintaining existing accounts and ensuring the Prestige and Premium arm of the business excels.</p>
<p> This role is a SALES role – you will be required to build new business in both ON and OFF trade for the Prestige and Luxury market.</p>
<p> Business Development Executive Key Responsibilities: </p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for growth of sales targets across London’s Prestige drinks market</li>
<li>Building new business and nurturing existing accounts, inclusive of independent and groups.</li>
<li>Providing strategic planning in how to expand the business – both Sales and Marketing</li>
<li>Understanding portfolio and be able to deliver full knowledge on products along with upsell opportunities.</li>
<li>Acting as a Brand Ambassador to and for clients and consumers</li>
<li>Planning, organising and facilitating client meetings, organising calls to meet KPI’s</li>
<li>Driving sales and revenue through negotiations and listings.</li>
</ul>
<p> The Ideal Business Development Executive candidate: </p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience working in the Prestige Drinks Sector in London</li>
<li>Be a self-starter who is driven to succeed – a strong connection and network would be preferred.</li>
<li>Proven track record in delivering growth in the drinks industry.</li>
<li>A customer-oriented approach to account management which aims to exceed expectations.</li>
<li>A strong and assertive style to self-management and motivation.</li>
<li>Able to negotiate, delivery training and competently explain a alcoholic product range</li>
<li>Must be able to drive</li>
</ul>
