Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel is expected to leave Fenerbahce at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new contract with the Turkish giants.
According to Mackolik, the club have ended negotiations with the defender, who demanded a significant pay increase.
Osayi-Samuel, currently earning less than €3 million per year, requested a salary hike that Fenerbahce was unwilling to meet.
As a result, the Super Lig side is prepared to let him leave on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
The 27-year-old full-back has been linked with a return to England, with Premier League clubs Fulham and Crystal Palace reportedly monitoring his situation.
Osayi-Samuel joined Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers in January 2021 and has since established himself as a key player in the team.
