About the role
Join the Multi-Unit Operations Team where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. In the role of Bilingual Specialist, Quantitative Analysis, you will provide effective expertise and guidance by leading data analysis projects impacting multiple stakeholders within the corporation in support of our strategic results.
This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months.
What you’ll do:
- Interpret and analyze data related to client/partner relationships and continuously monitor and report on operations.
- Lead the preparation of reports, business cases and/or presentations based on research topics and analyses; present to stakeholders as required.
- Manipulate and analyze large datasets while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide research and analytical services using computer-based tools during the early exploratory phases of projects and frequently as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Solicit input from stakeholders and clients on issues affecting current strategies, products and identify opportunities for existing services and systems.
- Monitor critical issues for further analysis, review key performance indicators and provide advice, guidance on potential solutions and improvements for CMHC’s products and services.
- Conduct effective testing and post-implementation reviews.
- Create opportunities to improve report delivery including automation and self-service approaches.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a data analysis role.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Expert ability in identifying and analyzing trends, patterns, or connections between issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience creating or delivering presentations.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
