<p><b>Job description</b>: ​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a leading Cleantech consultancy, advising governments &; industries through their navigation of the complex transition to a decarbonised &; sustainable energy economy.</p>
<p> The client does this by assuring that energy systems operate efficiently &; safely, supporting regulators, developers, &; utilities with independent advisory services &; due diligence, conceptual design &; procurement support, &; feasibility studies. They are actively seeking a BESS Electrification Consultant, with a strong technical background, with dual responsibility, to be involved in the service portfolio development &; maintenance, as well as focusing on the delivery of technical advisory services.</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p> Working with stakeholders in marshalling the technical aspect of projects, including the feasibility, development, &; tender stages.</p>
<p> Conduct commercial due diligence, in improving bid competitiveness &; ensuring technical quality.</p>
<p> Provide ad-hoc advise &; support to operational assets &; construction projects, through project construction monitoring &; on-site inspections.</p>
<p> Evaluate &; assess all technical risks &; formulate professional reports during the various stages of the project process.</p>
<p><b>Your Profile:</b></p>
<p> A degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering, or a relevant engineering subject.</p>
<p> Previous experience with energy storage systems &; power systems engineering.</p>
<p> Ability to work independently &; travel within the UK, as well as internationally.</p>
<p> Knowledge of UL Tests &; NFPA 755 for batteries.</p>
