<p>The <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/brazil-football-confederation"><strong>Brazilian Football Confederation</strong></a> (CBF) has confirmed the appointment of <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/davide-ancelotti"><strong>Davide Ancelotti</strong></a> as assistant coach of the national team, reuniting him with his father, <strong>Carlo Ancelotti</strong>, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.</p>
<p>Davide, 35, has worked alongside his father since 2016, with joint stints at Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton and most recently Real Madrid.</p>
<p>During that period, the duo have amassed a wealth of silverware, including two Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, a Bundesliga title, and a FIFA Club World Cup, among others.</p>
<p>The younger Ancelotti was recently linked with managerial roles at Rangers and Serie A club Como but has opted to continue his role as assistant on the international stage.</p>
<p>A statement from the CBF highlighted Davide’s qualifications, noting his UEFA Pro License and academic background in sports science.</p>
<p>The CBF emphasized that his appointment is part of a broader strategy to innovate and enhance the team’s technical capabilities.</p>
<p>Davide is expected to arrive in São Paulo this weekend to join the coaching staff as Brazil ramps up preparations for upcoming international fixtures.</p>
