Brazilian adult content creator Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known as Anna Polly, tragically fell to her death from a hotel balcony in Nova Iguaçu, northwest of Rio de Janeiro.
Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation into the circumstances surrounding her fatal fall. Reports indicate that Anna had invited two men to participate in a filmed encounter for an online adult platform. However, both men allegedly gave conflicting statements about the events leading up to her death. Despite this, no arrests have been made.
The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit, leading the investigation, is reviewing hotel CCTV footage and has questioned hotel staff. Anna’s mobile phone is also being examined for potential evidence.
The results of her post-mortem examination remain undisclosed, leaving uncertainty over whether toxicology tests detected any substances in her system or if there were signs of sexual violence.
According to Mirror, police have described the case as “complex” and are considering all possibilities, from a tragic accident to potential foul play.
A spokesperson for the homicide unit stated, “We are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened. This is a complex case, and we are not ruling out any scenario, from an accident to a possible crime.”
The incident occurred at the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel, as confirmed by local reports.
Disturbing footage circulating online shows a police officer standing over a body covered with a blood-stained sheet, believed to be Anna’s.
Her grieving boyfriend, Pedro Henrique, told Brazilian magazine Quem that authorities had collected all available evidence, stating, “If someone is responsible, they will be found and held accountable. She died from the fall. There was no chance to save her.”
In an emotional tribute on social media, Pedro shared details of her funeral and expressed his sorrow, “It’s so difficult without you. As time passes, reality is sinking in, and the pain in my heart is only growing.”
Though the incident occurred on January 23, mainstream Brazilian media only recently began reporting on the shocking case.
Friends and colleagues remain in disbelief, with one close associate recalling Anna’s ambitions: “She had big dreams. She wanted to grow her social media presence and was always excited about new projects. This news has left us all devastated.”
