Job description: What is the opportunity?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an upbeat and lively customer centric team involved in business customer account opening activities and develop a detailed knowledge of the Banking industry. The role will primarily involve the accurate and efficient onboarding of business customers to Bank of Ireland. We will deliver training which will allow you to develop a good sound knowledge of our business and an exciting career in Bank of Ireland.
In this role you will:
- Accountable for delivery of all aspects of account opening process requests for NI business customers
- Responsible for accuracy of adherence to NI Financial Crime Guide and business account opening procedures to meet regulatory requirements and service level standards
- Completion of KYC/ AML reviews, collaborating closely with the customer on queries and pro-actively raising cases to ensure a swift resolution
- Record/update all relevant information on Bank systems with a high level of accuracy
- Support unit manager with delivering effective and collaborative teamwork, implementing process improvements, embracing new technology and services, production of management information, driving performance based approach across the unit and evidencing high levels of customer service
What will make you stand out?
Ideally you will have customer service experience and understanding of business account opening requirements in line with UK regulations.
You possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus with emphasis on delivery and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and working to tight timeframes.

Business Banking Client Services NI Account Opening team is responsible for the onboarding of all business accounts (including directive changes) for NI & GB customers and is based in 1 Donegal Square South, Belfast. It is a hybrid role with work based in the office and from home.
