<p>A lady has recounted how she was discouraged from renting a 2 <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/bedroom">bedroom</a> </strong>flat and buying a <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=car">car</a> </strong>with the advice that it would scare men away.</p>
<p>In a Facebook post sighted on the page of the lady, she disclosed that as a single lady, she decided to rent a 2 <strong>bedroom</strong> flat but she was told it would scare men away from her.</p>

<p>According to her, she ignored all the advice and rented the house. She disclosed that aside from renting the flat she had a lot of plans also like expanding her business hence needed space to store her products.</p>
<p>The businesswoman stated that she is glad she didn’t heed the advice because her life has become very comfortable since she got the flat and bought her car.</p>
<p><em>“When I wanted to rent the 2-bedroom flat I live in, a few acquaintances tried to discourage me from renting the 2-bedroom house because according to them, I am a single lady, and a 2-bedroom flat is too much for a single lady. One told me living in the 2-bedroom house would scare men away from me. lol,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.</em></p>
<p><em>I ignored all of them and still rented the 2-bedroom house because I had so many plans and intentions to expand my business and for me to achieve the expansion I needed, I needed enough space to store my products.</em></p>
<p><em>Fast forward to now, my visitor’s room, my walkway,s, and my dining area are filled up with goods!</em></p>
<p><em>In life, have a mind of yourself! I don’t know why people make every conversation about a single woman revolve around male validation.</em></p>
<p><em>One also told me that when I wanted to buy my first car. She told me not to buy a car because men would run from me. Lol. I have been driving for 2 years now, if I tell you the things and comfort my car has helped me to achieve ehh? I function better when I am comfortable. Dear lord, I am grateful.”</em></p>
