Dow is seeking New College Graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree for entry level STEM opportunities in Operations.
ABOUT OPERATIONS: The Operations function within Dow is comprised of four unique focus areas that translate business strategies into operations priorities and results. The focus areas are Core Manufacturing, Technical Expertise & Support (TES), Environmental, Health, & Safety Operations (EH&S), and Emergency Services, & Security (ES&S).
ABOUT YOU: Your job will include a broad range of responsibilities in a variety of different work settings such as chemical plant safety and environmental performance, process operation, optimization, modification, maintenance, and technology implementation. STEM Talent must use sound technical judgment to enable safe and efficient plant operations. The majority of the positions are available in Prentiss (Red Deer), Alberta or Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Master Degree in STEM disciplines.
- Must have a minimum overall cumulative 2.700 GPA (on a 4.000 scale) or equivalent on a 100% scale at your current Canadian based university
- A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada without Company Sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A preferred graduation date of no later than September 2024.
- Enrolled in a “Engineers Canada” accredited program
Contingencies:
- Reliable attendance is an expectation of every Dow employee, therefore the successful student must be able to provide their own accommodation, and have their own reliable transportation to the plant site daily. Our plant sites are not on public transportation routes.
