The Essential Phone (PH-1) Specs, Review & Price

The new model and brand of smartphone called Essential Phone PH-1 was launched in May 30, 2017. The phone was manufactured by Essential Products; the phone was designed by Andy Rubin – Android co-founder.

Actually, Essential phone was initially designed for Andy Rubin – Android co-founder. It was for just himself and his colleagues but the phone but later got huge demand from smartphones uses around the world, so the company later decided to go into mass production and it has since been available for purchase in the market.

The Essential Phone is a phablet-sized device with a very nice screen. The screen measures 5.71 inches diagonally, Android 7.1 Nougat and comes with a Quad HD resolution of 1312 by 2560 pixels with 504 pixels per-square inch, also has a Gorilla glass 5 for advanced screen protection. The Essential phone has no external storage slot but it comes with a good 128GB worth of internal storage space.

Essential Phone PH-1 is powered by an Octa-core CPU, Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset and Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM to provide seamless phone experience.

Price and Available

The Essential phone is sold for $750 USD with Snap-on accessories while sold for $700 USD without Snap-on accessories. The equivalent price of it in Nigeria is about N275,000
